BEGINNER LESSONS
Beginner Lessons:
Young students begin with 30 minute weekly lessons, and learn music from a nurturing environment. Ideal for very young beginners, The Suzuki Method reflects the belief that provided with the best environment, as how children can learn language immersed in their language, students can learn music easily and naturally, and reach their highest potential. With use of manipulatives, aural stimulation, colorful visual aids, careful guidance to the parents, and quality demonstrations, beginner students begin to develop a strong foundation of piano playing through different senses, and a joy of music that can last a lifetime. A three-way partnership is established, with the acknowledgement that the student,parent(s), and teacher all act as a TEAM, and an important bond forms.
INTERMEDIATE LESSONS
Intermediate Lessons or 45 minute Lessons:
Students at this level move up to 45 minute lessons. With a firm foundation of playing, and well trained ear, students begin to explore more techniques of playing and repertoire of music. Students at this point are given opportunities to take up the challenge of preparing for state-wide piano examinations. They gain more confidence by beginning to learn to read more and performing more. The character of the child becomes more developed. Their passion, confidence, and joy of music grows. Parents continue to play an important role of giving encouragement and support.
45 minute lessons are also open to older transfer students and older beginners who are able to stay more attentive longer, for in P3 Piano Studio, I believe that it is never too late to start lessons again.
ADVANCED ONLINE LESSONS
Advanced Online Lessons:
Students’ maturity level grows as they take up to 60 minute lessons weekly. Students are well prepared in taking state-wide piano exams and have more opportunities to perform and challenge themselves. They work more in depth on their technique and reading skills in their lessons. Their wide range of repertoire and understanding of music they play becomes more rewarding. Their joy and passion for music is set for a lifetime. They are encouraged to go out into their communities more to perform and share their talents and beauty of their music. They are encouraged to strive for excellence, and most importantly, goodness in their humanity through their music.
60 minute lessons can also be open to older transfer students and older adult beginners who are able to stay more attentive longer, for in P3 Piano Studio, I believe that it is never too late to start lessons again.
